Overview:The annual Barnes and Noble Fundraiser is coming up. The fundraiser is held from December 6th through the 10th. Money is earned for the band by shopping at the store, then presenting a voucher to the cashier at checkout. The voucher earns money for the band on all items purchased, including music, books, gifts, snacks, coffee and cheesecakes. For the fundraiser to be a success, as many vouchers as possible need to be distributed. Be sure to give vouchers to your family, friends, co-workers, teachers, etc.

- Thursday:
- LHS Band groups will provide gift wrapping -4:00-8:00 pm
- Friday:
- LHS Band groups will provide gift wrapping -4:00-10:00 pm
- Storytime with Corduroy Bear -7:00 pm
- Saturday
- LHS Band groups will provide gift wrapping -12:00 noon-10:00 pm
- Music by LHS Band -4:00-8:00 pm
- Craft for kids (make a “hosafone” musical instrument) -1:00-4:00 pm
- Storytime with Santa -3:00-3:45 pm
- Coffee & Cheesecake tasting -5:00-6:00 pm
- Sunday
- LHS Band groups will provide gift wrapping -12:00-8:00 pm
- Monday
- LHS Band groups will provide gift wrapping -4-8 pm
Sign-up to work by picking your slot and emailing Nancy Miliken at millikenn@yahoo.com with your name and the time and position you will be working. Remember that by working the Book Fair you will earn fundraising lettering points.

- All workers must wear band t-shirts.
- Gift wrappers will provide free gift wrapping for customers. Donations will be accepted.
- All gift wrapping supplies are provided.
- Parents and/or students may sign up to help with the crafts. We will make "hosafones"with the kids. I will provide all of the materials and show you how. We would also like a few students to walk around and demonstrate the "hosafone"and encourage kids to come and make one!
- Story readers will read 3 or 4 books to children in the kid's area.
- Friday night there will be a costume Corduroy Bear so the stories will be about Corduroy. Saturday we will do holiday stories.
- We also need a SANTA and a COSTUME for him!
