Loveland High School Band Boosters

The Loveland High School Band Boosters (LHSBB) is a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization, begun in 1997, whose mission is to provide logistics, moral and financial support to the Loveland High School bands program – grades nine through twelve. It consists of parents, family and friends who support the LHS bands’ curriculum classes such as marching band, color guard, jazz bands, Wind Symphony, Symphonic and Concert bands, as well as extracurricular activities, including the Crimson Regiment and the Loveland Winter Guard.

We raise money to purchase musical instruments and pay for repairs, marching uniforms and concert wear, sheet music, transportation to performances and competitions, financial assistance to students and instruction costs. Our fundraising goal for 2019-20 is $120,000. We cooperate fully with the band directors, school administration, and the Thompson R2-J Board of Education so that the band program at Loveland High School can be maintained at the highest standards of excellence.

Booster Membership

Parents, if you have a child enrolled in any band or guard program, you are already a band booster member! Students in any one of the LHS bands program are also booster members. Contact any Booster Board member to get involved with the band and the band boosters.

Membership in the Loveland High School Band Booster Club benefits the LHS Band program and the students in many ways. We encourage parents, adult family members (e.g. grandparents, aunts, uncles), friends and alumni to join in and provide active support. The band boosters raises funds through several fundraising activities throughout the year. These fundraisers need volunteers to help run and manage them. Without volunteers the band would not be able to raise the funds that are needed to maintain the award winning Loveland High School Band and Guard programs. We encourage you to attend the meetings, and become involved in the band boosters.

Parent and adult participation through volunteering provides critical support to the band directors. The boosters handle many tasks such as: operations, props, chuck wagon/food committee, transportaion and communications — allowing the band directors to focus their attention on the students and instruction. Volunteers are able to spend time with the students and admire first hand their progress and development.

Your booster membership is an important element of several fundraising activities that support the band program throughout the school year. Fundraisers help offset the rising costs of maintaining the award winning Loveland High School Bands and Guard programs.
